Are
You Using the BEST Cold-Therapy
Products?
Not so, if you are
still using Ice, Gel Packs, Chemical
Packs or Alcohol-Based Cooling Products!
Why Aren't these Products
Good to Use?
The "colder
is better" concept
is "old news",
as it has been shown that ice, chemical
and gel packs can increase irritation
and swelling of the soft-tissues
if they are not applied appropriately.
If these products are left on too long,
vasodilitation occurs, increasing the
risk of damage due to the additional
swelling of the soft-tissues as the body
attempts to protect itself from frost
bite/burn. Excess cold can have the opposite
effect intended, causing long-term damage
to the tendons and muscles.
As for alcohol
based products, they only provide "surface" cooling,
but do not reduce the temperature of
the deeper layers of muscle enough to
be therapeutically beneficial. These
types of products often cause surface
vasodilatation of
the blood vessels, thereby increasing
irritation and swelling in the more superficial
tissues as well as irritation of abraded
or dry skin.

Consumer Testimonials:
"Since our introduction to COLDFLEX® 18 months ago our now 9 year old racehorse, Bulginbaah, went on to win his next 4 starts (including WFA) and has had no spell to speak of in that time. He competes at the highest level, carrying top or equal top weight in every start. Has now won 20 races and there is no stopping him. I swear by Coldflex, I will never go to the races without it"
Cathrine Wilson, Co-trainer Bulginbaah New Zealand
"That stuff cools the legs down fast, doesn't it!"
Ken Cropp veteran racehorse trainer, New Zealand.
"At pony club in the summer months, my horses suffer terribly from heat stress. COLDFLEX® blankets and wraps cool them down fast. I always have some in my gear bag and they ensure that my horses can compete all day, at their best, without any suffering"
Jaimie K. Rossmore Sydney.
